Rare Limited-Edition Reissues of Famous Classic Reels from Hardy® USA
Since 1873, Hardy has produced more than a dozen of the most sought-after fly reels in the world. In an effort to satisfy enthusiasts who can't obtain original models, Hardy made a number of limited edition replicas. They thoroughly researched their archives and consulted with the brightest Hardy tackle authorities to make certain these reissues are exact in every detail. Four engineers work in the reel department proudly engraved their initials on each reel they hand assembled. Serial numbers are engraved as well. All reels are supplied with a replica leather case.
Hardy has completely sold these out, and are no longer available. The value of these reels will keep going up and up.

At the request of Mons Louis Bouglé, a reputable French tournament caster, Hardy designed a lightweight and large capacity aluminum trout reel. It was the first and only raised pillar trout reel with Perfect-styled backplate that Hardy ever created. Made of aluminum and weighing a little over 4-l/2 ounces, the Bouglé made for a delightful change from the prominent solid brass reels. Hardy's records indicate that only seventy-seven 1903 versions were made, thus making it one of the rarest Hardy reels in the world. Only 1000 right-hand retrieve models were reissued.
