One-of-a-kind individually
hand-carved fish from
Nova Scotia, CanadaBorn in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Arnold Lathigee became an avid sport fishing enthusiast for trout and Atlantic salmon at an early age. Arnold retired in 1995 and found his "second career" to be carving fish. The culmination of years of fishing and his intimacy with the catch is shown in these works of Art sculpted of Basswood, with every detail lovingly etched from memory to depict character, life and movement. Each Carving is individual, no machined or assembly line fish here! Because each fish is hand sculpted each carving has a personality of it's own!
