Wildlife artist Marc DeMott has dedicated his life to fishing and the great outdoors. He put his expertise in these areas to work in 1989 and created his magnificant fish sculptures. As one can see Marc's artistry has created a level of realisim rarely achieved as he has devoted many hours of reserch to each species of gamefish so that he would be able to pinpoint every last bit of detail in order to make his creations so very lifelike. Inspired by his love for fishing and natural world, Wildlife artist Marc DeMott has created a collection of exciting gamefish sculptures. Each fish sculpture is completely handcrafted of cold-cast porcelain, a special blend of porcelain dust and resins known for it's ability to capture the finest minute detail. Each fish sculpture is reproduced from Marc's original wood carving. Lifelike coloring is achieved by highley detailed airbrushing. Each sculpture is mounted on a beautiful natuarl piece of manzanita or in the resin water splash scene then attached to a solid walnut base. Each piece is hand signed by the artist and comes with a barbles hand tied fly on a tight line hooked in the jaw.
