Affiliate Giftshop Program Work?
It's really simple. You place our banner (shown above) at your website and
hyperlink to our best-selling FLYFISHING GIFTS store front, and earn a percentage
of any sale that originates from clickthroughs from your website! All of
our best-selling items are In-Stock at Flyfishing-Gifts.com, the Number
One flyfishing gift site on the web, for immediate shipping...and therefor
immediate customer satisfaction.
What
is the commission amount?
Commission is based on a percentage of the sale subtotal (not including
shipping and taxes, if any). Your commission is a generous 6.0%, payable
quarterly (most affiliate programs range from 3-5%). Minimum payment is
$25.00; if any account has not accumulated $25.00 for that quarter, any
commission amount is carried over to the next quarter. Affiliates are responsible
for all state & federal taxes. No taxes are witheld.
What
do you have to do?
You
only have to fill out our affiliate signup application. Its easy, and its
free. Just click on the Affiliate Login at our Store Front
(click on the image at right to be taken to our Store Front), and then click
on the Create New Account link, which will take you to our
application.
Upon completion of your application, our Affiliate System will automatically
generate your very own unique Link URL with your personal Affiliate
Code ID embedded in the link, as well as the Image Link HTML for
you to put on your website to link our website. Once you've completed the
signin you will be able to login to your account via our Store Front Affiliate
Login to edit your information and view your Application Status, Commissions
and Current Earnings. We'll take care of everything else...advertising &
marketing, inventory, new products, sales, shipping, customer service, collecting
money...and sending out commission checks to you, our Affiliate Giftshop
Member!
How
does the linking work?
You put in a link from your website to ours, where the transactions are
conducted & traced back to your referring URL through the unique Affiliate
Code ID we assign to you. We'll maintain attractive standard size banner
ads on our server that will change seasonally and with special promotions,
as well as the hyperlink code from your website to ours.
A sample of the linking code looks like this:

Notice that, in this example for Affiliate Green
River Drifters, the special affiliate code is embedded in our secure
store front entry page URL. When we receive an order that originates from
Green River Drifters, their account is credited an 7% commission on all
items, not including shipping and sales tax, if any.
How
are the IDs assigned?
We assign you an unique Affiliate ID code based on your website name, and
supply you with a banner ad code and hyperlink. When you link over to our
site, the IDs are generated as part of the secure credit card/order transaction
process. Your Affiliate Code ID is embedded in the form a shopper fills
out at check out, and your ID account is credited a commission on the sale.
Commissions are paid quarterly. If your quarterly commission is less than
$25.00 for any quarter, it is carried over to the following quarter until
the commission reaches $25.00.
Who
can become a Flyfishing-Gifts.Com Affiliate Affiliate Giftshop Member?
Any flyfishing, camping, hunting or outdoor recreation website can become
an affiliate member. Guides, Outfitters, Lodges, Campgrounds, Resorts, Flyshops,
etc., are eligible.
What
is the cost?
There are absolutely no costs whatsoever. It is totally free, so there's
no reason not to join in. Plus, you can even earn commissions on your own
personal flyfishing gifts purchase!
